I’m a massive fan of finding exciting new brands, and when I came across Santoro London, I immediately fell in love. I know I’m a crazy cat lady, but surprisingly I fell most in love with their Scotty Dog print.
Can I just say that I loved what I had been sent to me, before I even opened the products.
They’d had put in the most gorgeous 3d pop up vanity card, and had individually wrapped all the items in cat print paper, because they knew I was a cat lover. Genuinely made me so happy that they’d made a special little effort for me, it was lovely!
Inside were a few samples of the Scotty dog print* and these included tissues, a cute notebook with pen, a phone case, some emery boards, a phone case and a pocket mirror.
My favourite piece from the collection was this little pocket mirror. It’s just so adorable and comes with its own pouch to keep it safe. I just love the print on it too, and has gone straight into my handbag.
I’m officially in love with this brand! Have any of you heard of it before? Would you be interested in checking out some of their collections?
So, over the weekend I went to my cousin’s wedding in Bath and it was a lovely day! I thought that I’d do a little wedding guest outfit OOTD, as I haven’t done one for a while. I was excited to wear my new Joe Brown’s Mediterranean Ocean Dress*, which I think is absolutely perfect for a special occasion. I love the cute patterned detail on it, and it fits so nicely. I sadly didn’t get a picture of the back, but it has a lovely overlap back with a cut out detail. My cardigan was from Sainbury’s and cost about £4 I think, bargain! Oh, and here’s a little bonus picture of me and my gorgeous husband. Btw apologies about my make up, we got stuck in the car for 4 hours, so I had to do it en route! Haha!
You may have noticed something a little different here in Beauty In Beta, I’ve had a makeover! I’d been feeling a bit sad about my layout, not sure what I wanted from it, then I came across the amazingly talented Carly Watts. I immediately fell in love with her design work and illustrations and knew that it was exactly what I had been looking for. I looked through her whole portfolio and everything I saw just got better and better.
So about 10 minutes after finding her site, I emailed her and commissioned her to design me a new header, buttons, YouTube channel art and a portrait and I’m so so happy I did. To do the portrait, she asked for a few photos of me, asked me a couple of questions like colours I liked, what I’d like in the picture (obviously had to have my cat Gizmo). She sent over a first draft quickly, which I loved, and then she sent over this portrait, which I am even more in love with. Look how cute Gizmo looks, I can’t deal with it!
I hope you are all well this lovely Tuesday? Well, on my last SEO post I did a little poll on what you’d like to have a post on next, and the majority said Google Analytics, so here we go! Sorry it’s taken so long to get this out. 🙂
Obviously I’m no expert, but I use Google Analytics daily for clients at work, so I thought I’d put together a little post on what exactly GA is, and how to get it on your site.
I’m going to talk a bit about how to apply this to your blog, and how to get yourself set up. Unfortunately this only applies to those who have a Blogger blog or a self hosted WordPress, as I’m not familiar with any others! You’re unable to use GA on a WordPress.com site (one hosted through WordPress), so you’ll have to stick to the stats tab of their blog, sorry!
