So, over the weekend I went to my cousin’s wedding in Bath and it was a lovely day! I thought that I’d do a little wedding guest outfit OOTD, as I haven’t done one for a while. I was excited to wear my new Joe Brown’s Mediterranean Ocean Dress*, which I think is absolutely perfect for a special occasion. I love the cute patterned detail on it, and it fits so nicely. I sadly didn’t get a picture of the back, but it has a lovely overlap back with a cut out detail. My cardigan was from Sainbury’s and cost about £4 I think, bargain! Oh, and here’s a little bonus picture of me and my gorgeous husband. Btw apologies about my make up, we got stuck in the car for 4 hours, so I had to do it en route! Haha!
Well, it’s only awards season in the blogosphere and it’s so flipping exciting! I was having a look at the categories for the Cosmo Blog Awards, and was thinking to myself, there’s no way I can compete with all the amazing beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogs out there
But I thought, you never know things unless you try, so as my little space on the internet here is only still a baby (6 months old), I thought that I’d maybe give the ‘Best Newcomer’ category a go.
So, if you like my random ramblings, or are feeling especially generous, then please do pop on over to this link below, it takes just two seconds and I’d be so grateful!
At Bloggers Fashion Week, I came across a company called Boomf. The idea behind their product is you can get marshmallows personalised with photos from your Instagram! Such a cool idea! At the event, we were super lucky to get a complimentary box of Boomf marshmallows to try. Most people were choosing pictures of them and their friends, or their partners. However, I chose my cat, yup. #crazycatlady
I ordered mine on the Wednesday evening, and they came on the Friday, which is super speedy. They are really tasty too. I was worried that with the print on them, the taste would be off, but can confirm… very lush. You get 9 mallows in a pack, and they come straight through the letterbox.Continue reading →
Hope you’re all well? So, this week I’ve been at the Bloggers Love Fashion Week, and this is my post about Day Three of the event! I think that this was definitely my favourite day of out of the three, as it was more beauty focused. If you would like to read the other days, they’re here – Day One and Day Two.
The theme for this day was All Black City Chic, so I opted for my favourite black skater style dress with the lace white collar from George @ Asda, black boots also from Asda, and my bracelet is from Black Tied.
Again, we were lucky enough to be there from 4pm, and straight away, we headed to the Beauty Bar to see what was going on. Monica got her face all glitterfied by the girls at The Parlour and I got my nails done by the lovely Roxanne Campbell.
Welcome back to the Blogger’s Love Fashion week posts! If you missed Day One, you can find it here – Day One. So, the theme of Day Two was a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and was hosted by Debenhams. I was a bit stumped with this theme, but in the end for my outfit I chose my cat skirt from ASOS (I thought it was close to the Cheshire cat.. maybe?) and then paired it with a plain black top from H and M, and also this gorgeous necklace I was gifted from Made (one of the brands at Day One of the events. I then finished it off with a fishtail plait, and my trusty ASDA satchel.
I was at the event from 4pm again, and all the VIBs at the tea party which as I mentioned above was hosted by Debenhams. They had all of their new collections for SS14 out for us to look at, which was really cool. They had shoes, jewellery, handbags, fascinators and other accessories!
