I think I am actually in love with Mint Green at the moment, like it’s unhealthy. My background is Mint Green, header has Mint Green in it. It’s getting out of control. So when I saw these Mint Green Skorts * from New Look I just had to have them. I paired them with my trusty cat shirt from ASOS. Yes, I am a crazy cat lady.. I also layered with this gorgeous lightweight White Kimono * also from New Look. I just love this Kimono because it’s so versatile and can pretty much go with anything. Lastly in my hair I have my favourite scrunchie from Beach Melba, and my necklace is from George at Asda. Ooo and if you’re interested, my nail varnish is ‘Breakfast In Bed’ by Rimmel.
I’m a massive fan of finding exciting new brands, and when I came across Santoro London, I immediately fell in love. I know I’m a crazy cat lady, but surprisingly I fell most in love with their Scotty Dog print.
Can I just say that I loved what I had been sent to me, before I even opened the products.
They’d had put in the most gorgeous 3d pop up vanity card, and had individually wrapped all the items in cat print paper, because they knew I was a cat lover. Genuinely made me so happy that they’d made a special little effort for me, it was lovely!
Inside were a few samples of the Scotty dog print* and these included tissues, a cute notebook with pen, a phone case, some emery boards, a phone case and a pocket mirror.
My favourite piece from the collection was this little pocket mirror. It’s just so adorable and comes with its own pouch to keep it safe. I just love the print on it too, and has gone straight into my handbag.
I’m officially in love with this brand! Have any of you heard of it before? Would you be interested in checking out some of their collections?
So, over the weekend I went to my cousin’s wedding in Bath and it was a lovely day! I thought that I’d do a little wedding guest outfit OOTD, as I haven’t done one for a while. I was excited to wear my new Joe Brown’s Mediterranean Ocean Dress*, which I think is absolutely perfect for a special occasion. I love the cute patterned detail on it, and it fits so nicely. I sadly didn’t get a picture of the back, but it has a lovely overlap back with a cut out detail. My cardigan was from Sainbury’s and cost about £4 I think, bargain! Oh, and here’s a little bonus picture of me and my gorgeous husband. Btw apologies about my make up, we got stuck in the car for 4 hours, so I had to do it en route! Haha!
Well, it’s only awards season in the blogosphere and it’s so flipping exciting! I was having a look at the categories for the Cosmo Blog Awards, and was thinking to myself, there’s no way I can compete with all the amazing beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogs out there
But I thought, you never know things unless you try, so as my little space on the internet here is only still a baby (6 months old), I thought that I’d maybe give the ‘Best Newcomer’ category a go.
So, if you like my random ramblings, or are feeling especially generous, then please do pop on over to this link below, it takes just two seconds and I’d be so grateful!
During your weekly snoop online and in the high street stores you can’t help but notice that pastels and sherbet colours are the new “it” shade of this spring season.
The candy shop trend, which was seen all over the spring/summer catwalks, come in different shades from icy blue, peppermint green, pale peach, lemon yellow, lavender lilac and baby pink.
If you fear the pastel hue, don’t, it is easy to embrace this trend with such a range of items of clothing on offer from chunky knitwear, boxy tops, flowly blouses to mini dresses. Just fancy adding a dash of these sweeties to your wardrobe? Why not mix it with humble colours such as black, beige, white or grey for that ultra contemporary feel.
